Diary of a black lesbian supporter who will soon be a footballer's Wife PDF Print E-mail
ImageLadies, Ladies - this is my diary entry, please read on. What can I say - women, you done BLUK proud! The sistahs came out wearing their footy boots, blue socks, blue shorts and red top with blue piping. They looked the part.

The sistahs came out wearing their footy boots, blue socks, blue shorts and red top with blue piping. They looked the part.

I registered the ladies and found out they were playing the "Docklands" this is a team that have won every game they have played and most of them play professionally for Milwall Girls. They had played a match just before coming to take on BLUK and had beat the team by 24 - Nil. Now I was not going to tell the sistahs that!

The matched started at 8:30 and the girls had got themselves a little practise and done some stretching exercises (which was good to watch) just before hand. Then the Dockland Girls bowled onto the pitch thinking they coming to beat BLUK's backside.........

BULK played really really well and yes we saw those flash moves the sistas were going on with on the pitch. The atmosphere was buzzing, the crowd were eager to see our sistahs in action. There was over 11 BLUK supporters shouting and screaming telling the sistahs how to defend it. The first goal was scored by Khi, she booted the ball into the back of the net and beat her chest and said I'm the studd - the whole crowd erupted with cheers and we blew our baby fog horns.

Then onto Chrissy was weaving in and out of the Dockland girls and scored the next goal with such ease - Big Up to you, you dun no sey your da one. Again the supporters went wilde with excitement!

These goals could not have been achieved if it wasn't for the whole of the team, so big up's go out to: Jae, Scottie, Sophia, Yankie, Chrissy, Kitty, Khi and last but not least Candi who was the "Woman of the Match" that was our goalie, she saved over 12 goals going in the back of the net with her wicked reflex - girl your gud!

The overall score was 13 - 2 to the Dockland girls but the score did not matter cause we know who really won. Big up to the BLUK football squad at least you got beat trying and you done a dam good job considering those girls are in a semi - league.

I know the sistahs have only been training for 3weeks and it was unfortunate that some of the other sister could not make it but you guys keep on conditioning your bodies and become very disciplined in what they eat!
It's only been 3 weeks and they are playing this way can you imagine in another months time - Ladies, I am so proud of you!

I cannot go without bigging up all the supporters that were there to give words of encouragement to the BLUK Squad. Last but not least Big Up to my Cheer leading girls Kay & Keisha we know how to sing out loud & proud for our BLUK women - next time we have to wear the likkle skirt ting and sing our song for BLUK 10x louder. If anyone want a little preview (of the song that is) come along and support the sistahs on Sunday as they train or come and participate and get the exercise.

My baby done so well - I am proud of you even though you are feeling the pain now but I can feel that big diamond ring coming my way.

I'm going to be a footballers wife - don't hate on me!

I can't wait for the next match!

Stay blessed
Phyll
