Andrew Prince of UKBlackOut is proud to be the recipient of the 2007 Black LGBT Community Award for Communications. I would like to say a big thank you to all those who voted for me and I take this opportunity to re-affirm my committment to help effect positive changes within the black LGBT community.The night started off on time when over 200 people boarded the Symphony boat on the Embankment. Guests were served with a glass of champagne on arrival. We then took our seats at beautifully presented tables. A three course dinner was served which consisted of a rack of lamb or a vegetarion option of Penne with pesto, sundries tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers French Brie & spring onions. The hosts for the night was Cyril Nri from the Bill, and Phyll Opoku-Gyimah who did a great job. On introduction Cyril came out dressed as a Ghanian woman, head dress, wig and lipstick to top it off.
The awards were presented after which people went on to heaven to finish partying.
