Literature - Poems

You looked at me
And I seem to melt,
Like ice beside flames of fire.
I seem to belong to another place,
Where reality stops,
And dreams are the only thing.

I seem to float on the air
That you breathe,
That keeps myself
From falling to earth.
If you hold your breath,
Will I stay?
Or will I fall?

Caress me as the night passes
Don't let me go.
Let me feel the warmth of your breath
On my ears,
Your lips on mine,
And your tender touch
on my body.

Let me fall asleep
in your arms.
Let me dream of you,
taking me up,
Up to that place
Where dreams are reality,
And reality, dreams.
