Domestic Violence

If you are a victim of someone's cruelty and violence, you must never consider yourself to blame. Even if you have been slapped or punched or otherwise harmed during the course of an argument or because you have forcefully asserted your own opinion or ideas or have 'defied' a partner's wishes, this is no cause for violence. You most certainly did not ask for it! You have been controlled and manipulated in a way that the bully has come to know is most effective.
