Saturday July 2nd was a gorgeously hot day and it is estimated that around 750,000 people turned out to celebrate EuroPride. For the first time (officially) the Parade went down Oxford Street and Regents Street giving the world the chance to see the diversity of Europe's LGBTs at its most glamorous and the BME community was out in force.

More than half a million people took to the streets of London on Saturday for Europride 2006, marking the end of a two-week Europeran festival of gay and lesbian culture. Streets in central London were closed as marchers, floats, dancers and bands led the EuroPride procession. Here, we have given you a pcitoral view of the BME men and women float on the day.
