Pride organisers said "Pride was breathtaking with a parade to be proud of, a party not to miss and visibility that cannot be ignored! The Carnival Parade, Preston Park and the street parties were only made possible with the support of the sponsors, local businesses, members, volunteers, the City Council, Sussex Police and many other organisations that played their part. It’s still the biggest and the best Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Trangender (LGBT) Pride Festival in the country, this year attracting 120,000 people. Visitors came from all over the world, in addition to the many thousands of Brighton residents. “Such a perfect day" - Boyz "Beyond Fabulous" - Gay Times "MAGIC" - QX Pride organises two Festivals, one in February and one in August. Both are a week long series of community events. The charity has a grants fund to allocate money to the local LGBT voluntary sector. The fund for 2004 was more than £37,000 (to be paid in 2005).
